Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Wear appropriate safety gear.

  1. Always wear safety glasses, gloves, long pants, and sturdy footwear.
  2. Keep hands away from cutting area and chain when operating.
  3. Ensure work area is clear of bystanders and obstacles.
  4. Do not operate in wet conditions or with damaged cord/battery.
  5. Use both hands to grip chainsaw firmly.

WARNING! Risk of serious injury or death from kickback, electric shock, or cutting. Never operate without proper training and safety equipment.

Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble before first use.

  1. Attach guide bar: Align bar with mounting studs and tighten nuts.
  2. Install chain: Place chain over bar, ensuring cutting teeth face forward.
  3. Adjust chain tension: Turn tensioning knob until chain snaps back when pulled.
  4. Fill oil reservoir: Use only recommended bar and chain oil.
  5. Charge battery (if cordless): Insert battery into charger until fully charged.

CAUTION! Ensure chain is properly tensioned—too loose may derail; too tight may damage motor.

Controls and Components

Main controls located on handle and housing.

Handle Area: Trigger switch, Trigger lock-off, Battery release (if cordless), Hand guard.

Housing: Chain tensioning knob, Oil filler cap, Chain brake lever, Bar cover.

Operation: Press trigger lock-off, then squeeze trigger to start chain. Release trigger to stop. Engage chain brake by pushing hand guard forward. Adjust oil flow via screw (if adjustable).

Operation Guide

For pruning branches and cutting logs.

  1. Check oil level and chain tension before each use.
  2. Hold chainsaw with both hands, feet firmly planted.
  3. Start cut at full chain speed; let chain do the work.
  4. Cut at waist level or below; avoid overhead cutting.
  5. Use tip of bar for plunge cuts only with proper technique.
  6. Stop motor and engage chain brake when moving between cuts.

Tip: Plan cut to avoid pinching bar. Use wedges for larger logs.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures performance and safety.

  1. Clean air vents after each use with soft brush.
  2. Wipe exterior with dry cloth; avoid water ingress.
  3. Check and tighten all screws and nuts periodically.
  4. Inspect chain, bar, and sprocket for wear.
  5. Lubricate moving parts as specified.

WARNING! Disconnect power source (remove battery/unplug) before any maintenance.

Chain Sharpening & Replacement

Dull chain reduces efficiency and increases kickback risk.

  1. Remove chain from bar (follow disassembly steps).
  2. Use round file and guide to sharpen each cutter at recommended angle.
  3. File all cutters evenly to maintain balance.
  4. Replace chain if cutters are damaged, uneven, or below minimum length.
  5. Reinstall chain and adjust tension.

CAUTION! Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling chain.

Storage Guidelines

Store in dry, secure location out of reach of children.

Empty oil reservoir or add stabilizer for long-term storage. Clean chain and bar, then coat with light oil to prevent rust. Store battery separately in cool, dry place if not used for extended period.

CAUTION! Do not store with fuel (if gas model) in enclosed space.
