  2. Install the chain: Fit chain over bar sprocket, ensuring cutting teeth face forward on top.
  3. Tension the chain: Use side knob to adjust tension until chain snaps back when pulled from bar.
  4. Fill oil reservoir: Use recommended bar and chain oil. Check for leaks.
  5. Connect to power: Ensure switch is off. Plug into 240V outlet with RCD protection.

CAUTION! Chain must be properly tensioned. Loose chain can derail or cause injury.

Operation Instructions

Always start with the chainsaw on a stable surface, clear of obstructions.

  1. Pre-cut check: Verify chain tension, oil level, and that bar nut is secure.
  2. Starting: Press lock-off button, then squeeze trigger. Allow chain to reach full speed before cutting.
  3. Basic cutting: Use the full length of the bar. Let the saw do the work; do not force.
  4. Oiling: Automatic system operates during use. For heavy cutting, press manual oil pump button.
  5. Stopping: Release trigger. Engage chain brake for safety when moving between cuts.

Tip: Plan your cut and escape path. Be mindful of pinch points when cutting logs.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

WARNING! Always unplug the chainsaw before performing any maintenance.

Chain Sharpening & Replacement

A sharp chain is essential for safe and efficient operation.

  1. Sharpening: Use a 4.0mm (5/32") round file and file guide. Maintain factory angle (typically 30°).
  2. Filing direction: File from inside tooth to outside, using consistent strokes.
  3. Depth gauges: File down rakers (depth gauges) to maintain proper height difference.
  4. Replacement: Replace chain when teeth are worn short or damaged. Use Oregon 91PX052G chain.
  5. Bar care: Flip bar periodically for even wear. Clean oil passages.

CAUTION! Wear heavy gloves when handling the chain. Ensure saw is unplugged.
