Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure chainsaw is off and cool.

  1. Mount bracket: Position bracket on chainsaw body near bar mount. Secure with provided hardware.
  2. Attach oiler: Place oiler onto bracket; tighten mounting bolts.
  3. Connect delivery tube: Route tube to bar oil hole; secure with clamp.
  4. Fill reservoir: Use recommended bar and chain oil; do not overfill.
  5. Test operation: Pump lever to prime system; check for leaks.

WARNING! Wear protective gloves. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent oil leaks.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare for operation.

  1. Prime system: Pump lever 5-10 times until oil flows from delivery tube.
  2. Adjust flow: Turn knob to medium setting; adjust based on cutting conditions.
  3. Check oil level: Ensure sight glass shows adequate oil.
  4. Test on idle: Run chainsaw at idle; observe oil distribution on chain.

CAUTION! Use only recommended bar and chain oil. Do not use motor oil or recycled oil.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Manual pump lever: Press to deliver oil. Flow control knob: Adjust delivery rate.

Operation Steps:

  1. Before cutting: Pump lever 2-3 times to pre-lubricate.
  2. During cutting: Pump lever every 30-60 seconds or as needed.
  3. Monitor oil: Check sight glass; refill when low.
  4. Adjust flow: Increase for hardwoods/dry conditions; decrease for softwoods.

Maintenance: Regular cleaning of reservoir and tube. Inspection: Check for leaks, tube cracks, and pump function.

Connecting to Chainsaw

Compatible with most chainsaw models. Ensure proper alignment.

  1. Turn off chainsaw and allow to cool.
  2. Locate bar oil inlet hole near bar mount.
  3. Attach delivery tube to oiler outlet and bar inlet.
  4. Secure tube with clamp; avoid kinks.
  5. Mount oiler on bracket; tighten bolts.

Tip: Route tube away from moving parts and heat sources.

Lubrication Procedure

Manual pumping delivers oil to bar groove and chain.

  1. Pre-cut lubrication: Pump lever 2-3 times before starting cut.
  2. During cutting: Pump every 30 seconds or when chain appears dry.
  3. Post-cut: Pump once after stopping to coat chain.
  4. Adjust rate: Use flow knob for more/less oil based on wood type and conditions.
  5. Check distribution: Observe oil on chain; should be even and consistent.

WARNING! Over-oiling can cause excess spray; under-oiling leads to overheating and damage.

Safety Features

Check valve: Prevents backflow and air ingress. Reservoir cap: Sealed to prevent contamination. Tube clamp: Secures connection to prevent dislodging.

Safety Precautions: Wear eye protection. Keep oil away from skin. Dispose of used oil properly. Do not operate with damaged parts.

Care & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Empty reservoir before storage.
  2. Clean with mild detergent; rinse and dry.
  3. Inspect tube for cracks; replace if damaged.
  4. Lever pump mechanism monthly with light oil.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents that may degrade materials. Store in cool, dry place.
