Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a clean, flat surface.

  1. Attach Guide Bar: Place bar onto studs, align chain sprocket, secure with nuts (torque 8-10 Nm).
  2. Install Cutting Chain: Fit chain onto bar, ensure cutting teeth face forward, adjust tension.
  3. Install Handle: Secure front and rear handles with provided bolts (torque 6-8 Nm).
  4. Fill Fluids: Add fuel mix to fuel tank, bar & chain oil to oil tank.

WARNING! Always wear cut-resistant gloves during assembly. Ensure chain brake is disengaged before starting.

Operation & Safety

Starting Procedure: Engage chain brake, set choke, pull starter cord. Operation: Disengage brake, squeeze throttle trigger. Safety Features: Chain brake, throttle lockout, anti-vibration system.

Safety Rules: Always wear PPE (helmet, goggles, gloves, chaps). Maintain firm grip with both hands. Never operate above shoulder height. Keep bystanders at least 10 meters away. Shut off engine when not cutting.

Maintenance Schedule

IntervalTask
Before each useCheck chain tension, inspect for damage, test chain brake
Every 5 hoursClean air filter, check spark plug
Every 10 hoursClean cooling fins, inspect fuel filter
Every 20 hoursClean spark arrestor screen, sharpen chain
Every 50 hoursReplace fuel filter, inspect clutch drum
SeasonallyDrain fuel for storage, lubricate throttle linkage

Carburetor Adjustment

Adjust idle speed (L) and high speed (H) screws using a small screwdriver.

  1. Start engine and warm up for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn idle screw (L) until chain just begins to move, then back off 1/4 turn.
  3. Adjust high speed screw (H) for maximum RPM without exceeding 13,500 RPM.
  4. Re-check idle after high speed adjustment.

CAUTION! Improper adjustment can cause engine damage. Use tachometer for precise RPM measurement.

Chain & Bar Maintenance

Chain Sharpening: Use round file matching chain pitch (5/32" for 3/8" chain). File each cutter at 30° angle. Bar Maintenance: Clean bar groove weekly, flip bar monthly for even wear.

Chain Tension: Proper tension allows chain to snap back when pulled from bar. Adjust tensioning screw when chain is cold.
