Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Always wear protective gear.

1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear chainsaw chaps, helmet with face shield, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
2. Work Area Safety: Clear area of bystanders, especially children. Ensure secure footing.
3. Kickback Prevention: Hold saw firmly with both hands. Do not cut with tip. Keep chain sharp and properly tensioned.
4. Fuel Safety: Refuel in well-ventilated area with engine off and cool. Use correct fuel/oil mix.

Assembly & Preparation

Starting & Operation

Cold Start Procedure:

4. Press primer bulb 5-6 times until fuel is visible.
5. Pull starter rope briskly 2-3 times until engine 'pops'.
6. Move master control to half-throttle position.
7. Pull starter until engine starts.
8. Blip throttle to disengage choke, allow 30-second warm-up.

Cutting Techniques: Use full throttle when cutting. Let chain do the work. Plan escape path. Beware of pinch points.

Maintenance Schedule

Note: Always disconnect spark plug wire before performing maintenance.

Chain & Bar Care

Proper chain maintenance ensures performance and safety.

1. Sharpening: Use round file matching chain pitch (typically 3/8"). Maintain 30° cutting angle. File all cutters evenly.
2. Depth Gauges: File depth gauges with flat file to maintain 0.025" (0.65mm) below cutter.

Storage & Transport
