Technical Specifications

Maintenance Schedule

Access daily and periodic maintenance tasks. Front Panel: Chain brake test, chain tension, air filter cleaning.

Daily/Before Use: Check chain tension/sharpness, chain brake function, fuel/oil levels, air filter, external screws/nuts.

Weekly/Every 10 Hours: Clean air filter (more often in dusty conditions), check spark plug, clean cooling fins, inspect spark arrestor screen.

Monthly/Every 20 Hours: Clean fuel filter, check carburetor settings, inspect anti-vibration elements, clean cylinder fins.

Yearly/Every 100 Hours: Replace fuel filter, check fuel lines, clean carburetor, check clutch and sprocket wear.

Engine Service

Cylinder & Piston: Remove muffler to inspect piston through exhaust port. Scoring indicates air filter or carburetor issues.

  1. Disconnect spark plug wire.
  2. Remove engine cover and air filter housing.
  3. Remove cylinder cover and muffler.
  4. Unbolt cylinder, inspect piston rings and cylinder walls.
  5. Reassemble with new gaskets, torque bolts to spec (cylinder bolts: 10 Nm).

Tip: Always use a torque wrench. Clean all parts before reassembly.

Fuel System

Includes fuel tank, lines, filter, and carburetor.

  1. Fuel Filter: Remove tank cap and filter; replace if clogged.
  2. Fuel Lines: Inspect for cracks; replace if hardened or leaking.
  3. Carburetor: Remove, clean jets and diaphragms; check gaskets.
  4. Fuel Cap: Ensure vent is clear.

WARNING! Fuel is highly flammable. Work in well-ventilated area, away from sparks or open flame.

Ignition System

Electronic ignition module, spark plug, and stop switch.

  1. Spark Plug: Remove, check electrode gap (0.5 mm), clean or replace.
  2. Ignition Module: Check air gap (0.2-0.4 mm) between flywheel and module.
  3. Stop Switch: Test continuity; replace if faulty.
  4. Flywheel Key: Inspect for shearing; replace if damaged.

CAUTION! Disconnect spark plug wire before any service to prevent accidental starting.

Chain & Bar Maintenance

Supports .325" or 3/8" pitch chains, recommended bar lengths 16"-20".

  1. Chain Tension: Adjust with side tensioner when chain is cool. Proper tension: snug against bar but pullable by hand.
  2. Sharpening: Use correct round file size (.325": 4.0 mm, 3/8": 4.8 mm). Maintain 30° cutting angle, 10° top plate angle.
  3. Bar Maintenance: Clean bar groove, flip bar regularly for even wear, check for burrs and file smooth.
  4. Sprocket: Inspect clutch drum sprocket; replace if worn (spur or rim type).

WARNING! Always wear gloves when handling chain. Ensure chain brake is engaged during maintenance.

Carburetor Adjustment

Adjust H (high), L (low), and T (idle) screws. Initial settings: L=1 turn out, H=1 turn out from lightly seated.
