Starting & Operation

Follow safe starting procedure. Operate with firm grip and proper stance.

Cold Start: Set switch to ON, press primer bulb 5-6 times, set choke to FULL, pull starter cord until engine fires, set choke to HALF, pull again to start.
Warm Start: Set switch to ON, set choke to OFF, pull starter cord.
Cutting: Hold saw firmly with both hands, let chain reach full speed before cutting, avoid tip contact (kickback danger).
Stopping: Release throttle trigger, set switch to OFF.

CAUTION! Never operate with one hand. Be aware of kickback zone (upper tip of bar). Keep bystanders at least 15 feet away.
