Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before operation. Always wear protective gear.

  1. Wear safety equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, ear protection, chainsaw chaps.
  2. Clear work area: Remove obstacles and ensure secure footing.
  3. Check chain brake: Verify proper function before each use.
  4. Fuel safely: Refuel only when engine is cool, outdoors.

WARNING! Chainsaw can cause serious injury or death. Never operate without proper training and safety gear.

Assembly & Preparation

Unpack and inspect contents. Assemble guide bar and chain.

  1. Attach guide bar: Loosen bar nuts, position bar, align chain groove.
  2. Install chain: Place chain on bar with cutting teeth facing forward.
  3. Tension chain: Adjust tension screw until chain snaps back when pulled.
  4. Mix fuel: Use 50:1 gasoline to 2-stroke oil ratio.
  5. Fill tanks: Add fuel mix to fuel tank, chain oil to oil tank.

CAUTION! Ensure chain is properly tensioned. Loose chain can derail during operation.

Specifications

Controls and Components

Main controls: Throttle trigger, throttle lockout, choke, decompression valve, chain brake, master control lever.

Components: Front handle, rear handle, spark plug, air filter, muffler, chain catcher, bar nuts.

Operation: Pull choke for cold start, push decompression valve, pull starter cord. Use throttle trigger for acceleration. Engage chain brake by pushing forward guard.

Starting & Operation

Starting procedure for cold and warm engine.

  1. Cold start: Set chain brake, push decompression valve, set choke to full, pull starter 3-4 times.
  2. Warm start: No choke needed, pull decompression valve, pull starter cord.
  3. Cutting technique: Use lower part of bar for cutting, maintain firm grip.
  4. Kickback prevention: Never cut with bar tip; be aware of pinch points.

Tip: Let engine warm up for 30 seconds before applying full throttle.

Maintenance Schedule

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and safety.

  1. Daily: Check chain tension, sharpness, and lubrication.
  2. Weekly: Clean air filter, check spark plug, inspect bar for wear.
  3. Monthly: Clean cooling fins, check fuel filter, inspect anti-vibration mounts.
  4. Annually: Replace spark plug, clean carburetor, check all safety features.

WARNING! Always disconnect spark plug before performing maintenance.

Chain Sharpening & Tensioning

Proper chain maintenance is critical for performance and safety.

  1. Sharpening: Use round file matching chain gauge (5.5mm). Maintain 30° angle.
  2. Depth gauges: File depth gauges to 0.65mm below cutting teeth.
  3. Tensioning: Adjust when chain is warm. Chain should snap back when pulled.
  4. Rotation: Rotate bar regularly to ensure even wear.

CAUTION! Wear gloves when handling chain. Dull chain increases kickback risk.

Storage Guidelines

Proper storage prevents fuel system issues and corrosion.

  1. Empty fuel tank or add fuel stabilizer.
  2. Run engine until carburetor is dry.
  3. Clean entire saw, remove sawdust and debris.
  4. Store in dry place, cover to prevent dust accumulation.
  5. Remove chain, clean and oil before storage.

Tip: Store bar separately in oil to prevent rust.
