Assembly & First Use

Unpack and inspect all components. Assembly required for bar and chain.

Attach Guide Bar & Chain: Place bar over studs, align chain with sprocket and bar groove, install clutch cover and tighten nuts finger-tight.
Tension Chain: Lift bar tip, adjust tensioning screw until chain fits snug against bar (can be pulled by hand but not loose).
Final Tightening: Hold bar tip up and tighten clutch cover nuts securely.
Fuel Mix: Prepare 50:1 mix with 91+ octane unleaded petrol and 2-stroke oil. Fill fuel tank.
Chain Oil: Fill oil reservoir with quality bar & chain oil.
Starting Procedure: Set chain brake ON, move choke to START, pull starter cord until engine fires, move choke to RUN, pull to start.

CAUTION! Ensure chain brake is engaged during starting. Never drop-start the chainsaw.

Operation Guide

Proper technique ensures safety and efficiency.

Starting: Engage chain brake. Set choke to START. Pull starter cord until engine fires. Set choke to RUN. Pull starter cord to start. Disengage chain brake before cutting.
Basic Cutting: Use full throttle when cutting. Let chain do the work - don't force. For felling, plan escape path, make notch cut, then felling cut.
Limbing: Work from trunk outward. Keep saw between you and branch being cut.
Buckling: Support log properly. Cut from top down. Beware of pinch points.
Kickback Prevention: Maintain firm grip. Don't cut with bar tip. Keep chain sharp and properly tensioned.
Shutdown: Release throttle, engage chain brake, press stop switch.

Tip: Practice cutting techniques on small logs before tackling larger projects.

Drain all fuel from tank and carburetor.
